Community accounts, sign-in, membership management, supporter payments, advertiser payments, and member payments are handled through community.xdl.network This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information when you use our website, community surfaces, and related online services (collectively, the "Service").

Information You Provide Directly
- Contact and Inquiry Data: Name, email address, topic, and message content you submit through XDL contact, support, or feedback forms.
- Community Account and Profile Data: Name, email address, profile information, professional background, capabilities, and community content you choose to provide through community.xdl.network
- Profile Content: Biography, focus areas, delivery strengths, industry expertise, portfolio links, and any other content you choose to publish.
- Communication: Messages, inquiries, feedback, support tickets, and direct communication within the Service.
- Client Preference Data: Region preferences, industry interests, timezone information, and search preferences for member discovery.
- Payment Information: Billing name, address, and payment method details used for supporter funding, advertiser payments, and member payments through community.xdl.network and secure third-party payment processors. xdl.network does not store community login passwords or full credit card numbers.
Information Collected Automatically
- Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, time spent, clicks, and interaction patterns.
- Device Information: IP address, browser type, operating system, device type, and device identifiers.
- Cookies and Tracking: Site cookies, community session cookies, and analytics tracking used to operate the Service and improve it over time.
- Location Data: General geographic information inferred from IP address (not precise GPS data).

- Member Discovery: Making your profile visible to clients and other members (if you are an approved member).

- Service Improvement: Analyzing usage patterns, identifying bugs, testing features, and improving the Service.

4. Information Sharing and Disclosure
Public and Semi-Public Information
If you are an approved paid member and choose to publish into XDL public showcase surfaces, your profile information and showcase content may be visible to the public and searchable within the Service. Protected workspace areas and direct messages are not treated as public showcase surfaces.
Third-Party Service Providers
We may share your information with service providers and partners who help us operate the Service:
- Community platform providers and payment processors (including Stripe, PayPal, and related providers) for community operations, billing, and payment processing.
- Hosting providers and cloud infrastructure companies for data storage and service delivery.
- Email service providers for transactional communications.
- Analytics providers for usage analysis and service improvement.
These providers are contractually bound to use your information only for providing services to XDL and must protect your data to standards consistent with this policy.

You can update or correct your community account information anytime by logging into your account settings on community.xdl.network

You can opt out of promotional emails and optional communications by clicking "unsubscribe" in our emails or adjusting notification settings in your community account.
Do Not Track Signals
Some browsers include a "Do Not Track" feature. We currently do not respond to DNT signals, but you can control tracking through cookie settings and browser privacy controls.
9. Third-Party Links and Services
The Service may contain links to external websites, profiles, and services operated by third parties. This Privacy Policy applies only to XDL Network. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of linked websites. Review their privacy policies before providing information.
10. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.
11. International Data Transfers
XDL operates in the United States. Your personal information may be transferred to, processed, and stored in the United States and other jurisdictions.
